traveler's new challenge

In Traveler's Challenge, we figured out that he/she has to travel from North Pole to South Pole and travel back along the same route to collect the money.

Suppose he started his S bound trip on New Year's Day and arive at South Pole on December 31. He waited a year at S Pole (circling S Pole !!) and started his journey along exactly the same route back to N Pole on Jan 1, and arive at N. Pole on December 31.

Now the traveller wants you to help him prove that along the way there exits one point that when he was there in either directions, the senconds, hours and days and months of the year were the same for both his sounth-bound trip and north-bound trip. Can you prove it?
