How did you get those two black lines? If there is a distortion due to the `wide angle' (is this right English?) lens, the arc is no longer part of a circle, and hence the true `radius' is not necessarily perpendicular to the arc, nor is it really a straight line in the picture. Also, the center of the rainbow is not exactly on the middle line of the picture, as a result, the part of the arc on the left and on the right may have non-symetrical distortion. www.ddhw.com With these uncertainties, I don't think you can reasonably argue that the displacement you found is significant.
