登高望远 (Dalian in 2008)（图）

去大连参加个会，吃的好像不比人民大会堂差。酒足饭饱登临大连最高楼顶观光，却忘了那楼的名字。一直想不通上个楼为什么还需要导游呢。天还不作美，雾大；回来看看照片，视野还算广阔。大连在变，整个中国在变。相机只能记录2008年的大连片断。

Those pictures were taken at dusk, seemingly like dawn.   Yes, there was a warship in rusty color at the edge of water.  Whether they can make it world-class is another thing; but the effort is there and Dalian is proud to be the harbor and manufacturing site.   ---
