甲should start with 8 in order to win this game. It's quite a complex situation if we want to write down all the options. I'm too lazy for it, and kind of busy these days.

BTW, the problem in 天生愚笨's solution is: After 5-7-J-pass; 4-9-Q-pass; 4-pass; then? 乙will win in this way.

甲can start 5. And later cast 6,6,8,8. The key is cast one at a time. The A is there to kill the K. Use a Q or J to kill 9. The idea is to break the other person's 2 pairs. It is not hard to see it.

Seems like some explanation is need to learn the beauty of this game. Player 1 should start with 8 to win this game. There are three variants:

1) 8-K; 2) 8-9; 3) 8-pass.

1) after 8-K-pass. it's easy to see player 1 gets good control of player 2's single K with his A and wins.

2) after 8-9-J-pass-5!, now 8 plays the role of J/Q , and player 1 keeps QQQ, which is very flexible, player 1 wins.

3) after 8-pass-5!, same reason as above, 8 is properly used.

The key is that you must use the additional J and Q (from their triples) to kill B's two 9s.

The order should be: 5-(7)-8. Then follow the following order to win 8,4,4,6,6.

1> When B casts the first 9, uses a J to kill
