a=24

a=2*b1

a1=b

a-a1 = b-b1

Solve the equations, b=18

Excuse my poor English. Here is the original question in English ...

John and Jane are a couple. John is now 24 years old. He is now twice as old as Jane was, when he was as old as Jane is now.

I changed the question a little bit to simplify it in Chinese.

如果“when he was as old as Jane is now”是问句，则提问：在那一年他与珍现在的年龄相同？

如果“when he was as old as Jane is now”是时间条件句，则此题缺少提问
