Hi Friends, www.ddhw.com I have a question about Diminished 7th Chords in piano theory. In the 4 notes of the chord, each 2 consecutive notes form a minor 3rd. When you move the bottom note to the top, each 2 consecutive notes of the chord again form a minor 3rd. How can you tell if it is an inversion or not? If there are many notes in a Diminished 7th chord, is the lowest note the root of the chord? Here is a link about the chords. But I cannot find this information. Thanks a lot. www.ddhw.com
