胡提出了「不动摇、不懈怠、不折腾」的新三不原则，《中国日报》的翻译为："If we don't sway back and forth, relax our efforts or get sidetracked”。折腾这里翻译成“get sidetracked". 这是个挺不错的说法，直译为不要走弯路。但是折腾也有很多其它意思，比如胡来，拍脑袋瞎决策，做无用功等等。因此我们也可以有一些其它翻译方法：
南桥版：We will not waver. We will not withdraw and we will not allow any whims.
或者：The reform has no room for hesitation, delay or caprice.
或者针对反对的声音来说：Shut up! Keep up! And don’t mess up!
