June 9, 2007, was an exceptionally sunny day and I took a walk in the city after dropping off others for their event.

The Asian Art Museumn across from the City Hall

It was early thus the streets were largely empty

The Newly Built Public Library does not open on Sunday

The City Hall has a pretty dome, well groomed.

I took a few steps closer

A sculpture in the plaza

Lining up the sky

Museum Banner (next to the Asian Art Museum itself)

Nice and cool

They call this place "The United Nations Plaza"

Turning into Market Street, there is a lonely fountain

At the joint of Powell and Market Streets, there is a cable car turnabout, and BART entrance

Market Street, downtown shopping center

Better angle of the Cable Car Turnabout and the SF Shopping Centre

I went up Powell Street towards the Union Square

Rhododendron still in full bloom, pretty color

The Central Stature high above Union Square

After million dollar renovation, the Square does appear neater than before

One of the old hotels, The Westin-St. Francis Hotel

Cafe at the Corner of the Square

Gate to Chinatown

The highrises hurt my neck looking up

Coit Tower not too far from here

Here is a cable car in motion

Tall buildings close in on me

Children's playground at the corner of Chinatown

Kearny Street leading up the hill

At a high point (Green Street), the Bay Bridge comes into view

Coit Tower was close but I didn't go there, because I am not a tourist

The famed Grace Cathedral (hey, I just passed by)

The Fairmount Hotel, place for many mega events in town

My round-trip came to the same dome

那一天我来了又走了，没人看见

匆忙得都顾不上深吸一口
你浓郁的诱人的香味
没有人说得清楚
我对你的爱的真假
其实也没有人在乎
是啊，这个世界上
有多少小城远在他乡
