Lost object in a public area legally is a non-owner object, unless a person can prove one's ownership. If you picked up such an object on a public property, while nobody has claimed its ownership, you are the temporary owner. After certain period (depends on the countries, states), if still there is no one claiming it, you will be the legal owner of the property. 英国有一条过时奇怪海事法例:凡居民在海滩发现冲上岸船隻遗骇，可以暂时代为安全保管，但要向警方申报。 但卻有28天寬限期。遗骇物件不能卖出，这是违法行为。 28天一到，还不见人来申报，就会发通辑令追失物啦！很搞笑吧！ 警察叔叔做什么，他不能拉人，因为拯救遗骇不违法。雖然明知眾人另有目的，一时间也沒办法。 只有等同伴来封锁海滩，保护遗骇货物。 有个南非女人看新闻片，看到自己货运一屋傢具给人抬走呢！ 每逢新闻片有报导有船英国附近遇险，附近滩头就站滿人等发财，就是不明白英国警方为何总是迟来一步  |
