标题: one college level problem

A pity not to have much time to visit this forum.

The following question need some knowledge beyond high school.

It seems somewhat boring.

Find polynomial expansion of (1-z) ^(-t), where |z| < 1. Both t and z are complex numbers.

We have standard solution to this problem by use of Cauchy integral.

But there is another way to solve it by imploying a bit of calculus.
