假设已有的油漆体积为A。对于任意大的墙面积S，都可取足够小的油漆厚度T=A/S，使得所需油漆体积V=ST=A。也就是: 用体积为A的油漆可漆满无限大的墙。

在从1到正无穷的区间上考查曲线1/x。由基础微积分知识可知，将该曲线绕x轴旋转所围体积有限（等于Pi），而该曲线与x轴所夹面积为无穷大。

Select one point from the wall as the original point (0,0)

The thickness of the paint is t=Aexp(-r^2)/PI, where r is the distance from original point.

So the total paint consumed is the integral of the whole area, you can prove that it is less or equal to A. And you can see everywhere has a thickness > 0
