美国南方各州曾经是西班牙,法国的殖民地, 南方属于亚热带气候适合种植水稻,

而西班牙本来就有吃海鲜饭的传统,因此在美南 Florida, Louisanna 等州就有这种Jambalaya .
这种美味通常份量都很大, 适合节庆时众人一起享用.
Jambalayas的名字据说来自Jambon (法文ham的意思), A LA YA (Creole语是米的意思). 做法有很多种,

以内容丰盛为特色.

这就是传说中的jambalaya
